You might be initially hesitant to seek out help and support for personal matters, but when you do, you will feel confident that you are taking a courageous first step towards getting to a better place. If you're interested in becoming a better, happier, more fulfilled you, I'd love to work with you every step of the way. Please contact me today!
In my work, I support clients who are experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, guilt and shame, issues with career and relationships, grief and loss. As someone with a mixed racial and cultural background, I bring a depth of multi-cultural experience and understanding to my work and our therapeutic relationship. I consider it a great privilege to work with people from diverse backgrounds including gender, age, culture, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and gender expression. I strive to be inclusive, welcoming, and accepting of everyone I meet and have the pleasure of working with.
During the initial sessions, we will explore your current difficulties and gather information on your personal history and life experiences. We will also talk about what is important to you and collaboratively set goals for your therapy. I will provide a warm, respectful, and compassionate space for you, free of judgment. We will work together to help you identify and understand your thoughts and emotions, gain new insight into your behaviours, consider new perspectives, and develop the skills and resilience you need to make positive changes.
